Júlia, de Isabel-Clara Simó: un cruce de relaciones transtextuales

Resumo
This article proposes a study of the textual transcendence of Isabel-Clara Simó’s novel Júlia. The methodology adopted combines the theoretical framework of transtextuality, according to Gérard Genette’s approach, along with the outcomes of other frameworks such as the history of publishing and the intermediality. Specifically, all the transformations derived from the original novel published in 1983 are presented and briefly studied: the author’s revision of 2003, the theatrical version of 2021, the radio adaptation of 2023 and the Spanish (1985) and English translations (1998). Therefore, a special emphasis is put on phenomena such as paratextuality and hypertextuality. The research does not aim to examine any of these cases comprehensively, but to relate them coherently and thus suggest, in a global way, which could be the approaches to works like this one, which have stirred up so many versions.Palavras-chave:
