In this critical edition, Roberto Echavarren affirms that El sueño of Juana Inés de la Cruz is the biggest philosophical and skeptical poem in the Spanish language in América, Luz Ángela Martínez reveals that to preserve mystery the poet fuses codification and sensuality with hieroglyphs and allegories of the world, like a similarity without esthetic and political similarity and Romina Freschi explains the ethic love battles of a life that supports itself through its perseverance. In the movement of its biggest poem El sueño Juana Inés investigates the light dispositive with which the soul overflies the body in the night’s watch, the same movements of the soul linked to the body and the logics of implicated dream as a production of singular and concrete images generated by the fantasy in relation with the phenomena of the world.
