Editorial Policy

REVIEWING PROCESS
The authors of the articles or papers presented can be national or foreign. The articles or papers presented can be written in English or Spanish. Articles and papers are evaluated by two external experts through the "double blind" sytem. The editorial committee of the journal reserves the right to reject those works that do not meet the minimum publication standards described in the regulations.
Submitted articles can be accepted without modifications for publication, accepted with suggestions for changes that must be answered by the authors, or rejected. The rejection decision is final.
It is the responsibility of the editorial team to inform the authors of the decision taken and the reasons considered for it, giving them a period of ten (10) calendar days in cases where they are asked to make modifications to the text presented.
For the evaluation of the articles, the updating of the theoretical or investigative references of the specific subject that the manuscript addresses, the coherence and validity of the methodological design and the social value of the contents addressed is taken into consideration.
The estimated duration of the evaluation process should not exceed three months, after which the editorial team will inform the authors of the decision taken and any modifications that the expert evaluators may suggest.
Both the shipping and the editing and publication process have no associated cost for the authors.

SCOPE AND EDITORIAL POLICY
The Journal is published in digital format, every six months and receives unpublished and original research or reflection articles, translations, reviews and other materials that conform to its editorial line and content.
Its target audience is made up of academics, researchers and scholars from a wide spectrum of disciplines and knowledge associated with the field of applied ethics.
The editorial line of the Journal considers that the ethical analysis turns out to be indiscernible from the political dimension that determines the social, institutional, environmental, scientific-technological and aesthetic processes typical of current life.
The call and reception of articles and works is permanently open. The journal maintains a regime of open and public access to published content (Open Access), linking to the digital platform of academic journals of the University of Chile.

The journal ETHIKA+ provides the edited and published version of the article for the use of the authors.
